2011 Services Symposium and Summit
23-24 March 2011 Great Hall, University House – Australian National University
The Services Symposium and Summit (SSAS), an annual summit between parliamentarians, business leaders and policy makers that examines the barriers to growth of the services industries and their international competitiveness, took place on 23 and 24 March 2011.
SSAS’ goals are to broaden understanding of the value of the services industries, discuss public policy ideas that can help improve innovation, productivity and trade in services, and highlight key trends and issues in specific services sectors.
The 2011 Services Symposium was co-hosted by the Australian Services Roundtable and the Australian National University’s Crawford School. The full SSAS program was sponsored by IBM Australia, Insurance Group Australia, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and e-Centric Innovations.
